Fonda DeMelo & Alfredo Quadros

The Chefs/owners of Bare Bistro are one of the foremost culinary talents in the Bow Valley. Previously, they worked at a number of prominent 5-star hotels worldwide, where they developed their unique style and creative flair. A love for food lies deep within the DNA of Fonda and Alfredo. They enjoyed cooking with their parents at a young age, and their passion later grew through travel, where they savored the tastes and textures of many different cultures. These experiences, coupled with extensive professional training, makes them innovative chefs today. Fonda and Alfredo led a number of successful culinary ventures before becoming the owners of the Bare Bistro. Their values are food that is authentic to the respective culture, made from locally sourced ingredients where possible, with an artisan touch.
